Jong Ajax - Jong FC Groningen 0-0

Een warme zomeravond op sportpark de Toekomst. De eerste thuiswedstrijd van Jong Ajax dit seizoen in een nieuw vormgegeven competitie. Doel is om na 7 wedstrijden bij de bovenste 4 teams te staan om zo in de hogere competitie te komen. De eerste wedstrijd werd met 2-1 van AZ verloren en om niet gelijk op een te grote achterstand te komen moest er gewonnen worden.

De opstelling van Jong Ajax (spelers met een + achter de naam zijn me positief opgevallen):

Van der Hart, Ligeon, Veltman, Denswil, Koppers, Klaassen, Boccara +, Fischer, De Sa +, Ebecilio (71. Bonevacia), Sulejmani (61. Van Kessel)

 

 

Heel kort samengevat was het een wedstrijd waarin Ajax duidelijk de bovenliggende partij was en ook de meeste kansen creëerde. Ajax speelde erg offensief met Klaassen en Fischer op het middenveld. Verder gingen ook de backs Ligeon en Koppers met enige regelmaat nog naar voren om de aanval te versterken. Achterin hielden Denswil, Veltman en Boccara alles onder controle.

In de afronding bleef het echter mis gaan en omdat FC Groningen zelf weinig kansen kreeg bleef het 0-0.

Vrouwen Ajax - Vrouwen Saestum 13-0

Een historisch moment in de clubgeschiedenis van Ajax. Op vrijdagavond 3 augustus 2012 wordt de allereerste wedstrijd ooit van de Vrouwen van Ajax gespeeld. Een zeer jonge en getalenteerde ploeg is samengesteld, aangevuld met de ervaring van oa Daphne Koster. Tegenstander op deze avond is het vrouwenteam van Saestum.
Over de wedstrijd zelf kan ik vrij kort zijn. Er werd gescoord. Er werd veel gescoord. Heel veel!
De speelsters die me in positieve manier opvielen waren Desiree van Lunteren met haar scorend vermogen, Babiche Roof en Mandy Versteegt die met hun snelheid voor veel gevaar zorgden en Daphne Koster die het team goed neerzette en veel rust uitstraalde. Eigenlijk zou ik het hele team wel kunnen noemen na zo'n ruime overwinning. Als team stond het tenslotte goed.

AEGON Future Cup 2012 (3)

Congratulations Ajax U17 by winning the AEGON Future Cup at De Toekomst.

It has been a great tournament with lots of spectators. Teams from all over the world came to try to win the cup. AC Milan, AFC Ajax, Ajax Cape Town, Besiktas, Desportivo Brasil, FC Barcelona, FC Bayern Munchen and Manchester United all had their best U17 team sent to Amsterdam.

FC Barcelona: Iu Ranera Grau, Joel Huertas Cornudella, Maximiliano Brian Rolon
FC Bayern Munchen: Lennart Ingmann
Manchester United: Mats Dæhli

Piccinocchi, Iu, Ingmann and Dæhli are the midfielders with good passing, players who keep working, who keep asking for the ball and have the talent to find the right teamplayer to pass the ball to. They have the drive forward but know when to slow down the game.
Piccinocchi reminds me most of Kaka in his Milan years. A little bit shy, not that physical but great positioning, makes the right choises on the pitch and has a good pass.
Iu is a more dangerous midfielder when he gets his chances to score. He starts an attack and can be found in front of the goal when there's some space for him to be dangerous. He can score both by foot and by heading.
Ingmann is a hard worker, reminds me a bit of Schweinsteiger. Technically good but only when he needs to.
Dæhli can be compared to Scholes. Not that physical but a good pass and he wants to go to the goal.

Acolatse and Maxi were the best wingers on the tournament. Both very dangerous. Acolatse showed to be a great finisher scoring 3 goals on the tournament. Maxi was the player who prepared most of the danger of FC Barcelona. The right winger gave some good assist during the tournament.

Van den Boomen was one of the players who played every minute and he showed how a real captain should be. Working hard, putting the teammembers on the right position, being dangerous when the game asks for it, getting the bit of luck needed to become champions. The midfielder is physically strong, tall and has a good technique.
